Graphic Cards

NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti Super

Nvidia will be adding to its RTX series with the NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti Super, which will be releasing in early 2020. It will consist of 4608 shaders (entirely silicon enabled), 576 tensor cores, 72 RT cores, 288 TMUs, 96 ROPs. Furthermore, this card will have a faster 16gbps GDDR6 type memory with a 352-bit memory bus and 11gb of Video Ram (VRAM).

AMD Radeon RX 5800 / Navi 12

AMD will be releasing a new card, the AMD Radeon RX 5800, somewhere in 2020. The GPU will be based on the Navi 10 RDNA architecture and will have 7nm process tech. The GPU will consist of 4096 shaders, GDDR6 type memory with a 256-bit memory bus. This card is designed by AMD to compete with NVIDIA's TU104 (RTX 2070S / 2080 / 2080S).

Intel Xe Discrete Graphics

Intel will be releasing its Intel Xe Discrete Graphics card somewhere in mid-2020. This will be the first discrete graphics card by Intel since the ill-fated Larrabee. This card will be used in the upcoming Cray Aurora Supercomputer for Argonne National Laboratory in 2021.

If you are longing to build a big, badass gaming rig, or if you want to build a good rig for other interests such as mining, editing, etc., then, in my opinion, this high-end gaming PC build won't give you a chance to be disappointed. In my opinion, these pile of components will provide you with the biggest bang for a slightly less big collection of bucks.

If you're upgrading or replacing an old system, you may be able to reuse some old parts, like a power supply or even your case. That'll help keep the overall build cost down. If you plan to reuse anything, however, we strongly recommend you check the compatibility with these recommendations before diving into the build.

CPU

Intel Core i7-9700k

Specs & Details

  • Overclocking: Yes, 4.9-5.1GHz typical
  • L3 Cache: 12MB
  • Threads: 8
  • TDP: 95W
  • PCIe 3.0 lanes: 16.
  • Turbo Clock: 4.9GHz
  • Base Clock: 3.6GHz
  • Cores: 8

Intel's Core i7 line is positioned in a fascinating center ground, following the release of the Core i9-9900K (9th generation), which is an eight-core, 16-thread chip processor.

If you are looking for budget-friendly processors, then the Core i5 9600k is recommended however the Coffee Lake Core i7-9600k processor too, has the exact number of cores as the Core i9-9900k, minus the Hyper-Threading feature.

The six-core i5-9600K processor is faster than the eight-core i7-9700K. But we would still rank the Core i7-9700K as one of the best CPU for gaming picks. This CPU has lesser heating issues as compared to the Core i9 processor due to the removal of Hyper-Threading, which in turn will allow you to go for a cheaper cooling option than liquid cooling. (If liquid cooling is in your budget then go for it, that's not an issue).

Peripherals

Keyboard (Razer Huntsman Elite)

Personally, for us, we find our gaming experience more personalized with mechanical keyboards. If you want to use a stock keyboard, then that's also fine. You should use whatever you feel comfortable with. Still, if you're going to invest in an excellent mechanical keyboard to make your gaming experience wholesome, then we would suggest the Razer Huntsman Elite. It is a full-size keyboard with Razer's Opto-Mechanical Key Switches. It also comes with a detachable magnetic wrist rest.

Mouse (Logitech G502 HERO)

Logitech's G502 HERO Gaming Mouse is for us(the gamers)) the best mouse, because I have used it myself and have found its grip, its feel and its sensor (HERO 16K) unlike any other with 11 fully programmable buttons, programmable dpi (dots per inch), programmable RGB lights, adjustable weights and much more. This mouse has also been recommended by many Professional Gamers and countless other users due to its quality and affordable range of prices.

Headset/Headphones: (HyperX Cloud II)

HyperX Cloud II is the way to go when selecting a good gaming headset to complete your ultimate gaming setup. It is a 7.1 surround sound headset with memory foam earpads (extremely comfortable I might add). It is compatible not only with your PC, but can also work with PS4, Xbox, and Xbox One S, etc.  With the above setup, you can pretty much run all the latest games on the highest settings. To name a few:

  • GTA V
  • Counterstrike: Global Offensive
  • Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019)
  • The Witcher 3
  • Apex Legends
  • Fortnite
  • PlayerUnknown's Battle Grounds
  • The Elder Scrolls V
  • Rainbow Six Siege
  • Overwatch
  • Rocket League
  • Red Dead Redemption
  • Man Of Medan
  • Far Cry 5
  • Forza Horizon 3
  • Forza Horizon 4
  • Need For Speed

and many, many more games.
