The German shepherd is a breed of dogs that originated in German. These are usually medium to large-sized. This breed had the name 'Alsation' in the UK. It is also responsible for the training of soldiers and officers in dog courses. It was founded by 114 people and had 292 dogs.

In 1965 the number of members was reduced to 16 persons and 63 dogs but again in 1966-67, the number was increased or raised to 50 persons and 100 dogs. This center is situated at a distance of 4km from railway Station, Rawalpindi and approximately 10 on from Airport, Islamabad.german shepherd dogs are selected on proper criteria.
