Size and Color of Persian cat

If we talk about the size of the Persian cat. They are not very big and has got weight in between 3 kgs to 5 kgs depending upon the breed. Persian cats come in many colors.

These colors include black, bluish shade, reddish shade, and white color. Apart from all these colors, most of the Persian cats have got copper-colored eyes. Some of the Persian cats have also got cream color.

Their coats are way attractive as compared to other ordinary cats and the long hair they have.. umm that's what makes them different from other cats. You can create a mix breed Persian cat to make a different colored kitten.

Breeding

Persian cat always bred to have a short face, chubby cheeks, short cobby body, round head, and a snub nose, but over time all these features are exaggerated. Persian cats are not very stranger friendly. If Persian cat sees another cat nearby, it gets curious.

 Mostly, the Persian cat matures after 6 to 10 months. Non-neutered male Persian cat becomes aggressive. Make sure when your cat comes to the age of 7 to 10 months, you allow it to have sex and make kittens. Sex is obviously essential when they come to an age.

This type of Persian cat has small ears, a flat nose, a round head extend with the thick ruff, a broad, round, and big copper eyes, with short tree-trunk legs, a flowing tail, and with short body.

The traditional Persian cat does not have some extreme features as that has in the show Persian cat, and its nose is of reasonable length, which gives it a sweet look. Both the types the show and the traditional cat have a glamorous long coat that makes it look more and more attractive and this coat comes in many colors. Both these types of the cat have same beautiful personality.

The traditional cat has got longer hair as compared to the show Persian cat. The traditional Persian cat is also known as doll face cat. They have also got a peke face.

Personality

The personality of the Persian is quite and gentle, the like-kind people who will treat them kindly and love a pleasant environment.

Persian cats are also acceptable to children who treat them well and play with them nicely, not the one who will drag him or dress him up. Persian cat greed with eyes, but sometimes it also greed with a sweet meow. He does not mind to spend time alone but if you will spend more time he will feel happier. He loves to spend time in a familiar place as it gets board in some new or strange place. Persian cats are very friendly with kids.

 Persian cats are quiet in nature and love to sit in soft places like sofas and they love to climb from one place to another. Persian cats love cuddling. As they have got a soft body, you will also love to play with them.

If you talk about the health issues of Persian cats, both mixed breed and pedigreed cats can have health problems. These problems may include noisy breathing that is caused by constricted nostrils. Persian cats may also have excessive tearing.

Some Persian cats might have an issue of dental malocclusions, which means that they won't be able to chew or mesh the food easily. Cherry eye and entropion can be very harmful to Persian cats as its quite painful for their eye. Persian cats can easily be got effected by seborrhea oleosa, which is a disease that causes itching, hair loss, and redness as well.

There is a fungal infection in Persian cats. If you find any sort of health issue with your Persian cat, then contact the veterinarian.

Care & Feeding

Persian can be treated like a family member, and this is how a Persian cat can get attached to you. You treat them is the way how you get treated from them. Take care of them and do their grooming. Clean them, comb their hair and play with them when needed. Bring toys for them. If you talk about the food of the Persian cat, they can eat almost anything.

They are not very choosy, you can give them rotis, chicken bones, bread, and milk obviously. In Pakistan, it is not very hard to find tin canned food, you can easily buy it from the supermarket. One of the best cat food is by pedigree. They don't usually eat fruits and vegetables. Perfect food for a cat must have the right amount of proteins and fats and a very less amount of carbohydrates. Make sure you make a balanced diet for your Persian cat.
