Manufacturing Process of Cooking Oil
Cooking oils are not directly obtained from their sources. To make oil able to cook something it has to undergo a number of series of processes like cleaning, grinding, pressing, extraction, filtering, refining, packing etc. some of them may include more than these processes. Extraction of Oil
In some industries this step is done before pressing like in Soybeans there is a little quantity of oil present in them. When the initial step is done the screwing process then they are extracted and on that extracted material solvent extraction is done and the oil is extracted from it is in better quality.
As described earlier that solvent extraction is done after the screw compressing. Thus, in the process of solvent extraction, a layer is built on the collected material it is then filtered out in that process. That filtration is done by providing steam to the collected oil or is heated at low temperature. In this way, it is filtered out.
Refining of Filtered Oil
Now the next step requires that before using the filtered oil it once again be confirmed and refined. Thus, for that purpose refining of oil is done so that oil can be deodorized. That process requires that steam should be passed through the filtered oil at very high temperature so that the acidity present in the oil can be removed.
When the refining is done then the oil, we get is clean and beneficial for use and also for health. Thus, to take it in the market it is necessary that it should be packed so that any hazardous particles don’t mix in it. And come safely into home.
