Gola Kabab Overview
Introduction
Think of Gola Kebab and our mouth is filled with water. A circular-shaped ball filled with wholesome ingredients, fried on skewers. This is a celebrated dish served generously during festivals and joyous occasions.
The sojourn of the kebab which started from Kandahar (Afghanistan), has touched the others the other parts of the world by delivering its traditional palatable taste.
Method Of Preparation

- Beef mince 500g
- 1tsb (tablespoon) black salt
- 1tsb whole cumin
- 1tsb coriander powder
- Black pepper-8
- 1tsb pipli
- Cardimum-4
- 1tsb Javitri (Nutmeg)
- 1tsb red chili powder
- 2tsb green chili
- 2tsb papaya
- 2ts ginger garlic paste
- 1tsb turmeric
- 1tsb yellow food color
- Green coriander 5g
- Mint 5g
- 1 cup cooking oil
- Salt (according to taste)
Preparation
Roast the cumin, black pepper, pipli, green cardamom and javitri together then grind until they turn into a powder form. Add all the ingredients in a bowl along with the beef mince, red chili powder, papaya, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, yellow food coloring, coriander powder, green coriander, mint and black salt and mix thoroughly. After the mixture has been prepared to refrigerate for 4 hours.
Later take out the mixture and shape it in round balls. Prior to frying, prepare the skewers by coating oil on them. Then fry until golden brown.
The cooking time required is 30minutes.

Important Pointers
Fried over medium heat and needs to be checked from time to time so it does not remain raw and is not burned in the process of frying.
