Deep Cycle Gel Batteries: In Gel batteries, the electrolyte is eternally packed with a sticky gel. So, it will not leak out of the battery if tilted on its side. Gel batteries are manufactured in a way that they discharge deeper, and there live two to three times more than AGM batteries.
AGM Batteries: AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) is a specially designed with glass mat separator. If by any chance, the battery gets broken, there is no free liquid present to leak out. AGM batteries are deep cycle batteries that are non-spillable, with low self-discharge, and can be attached in any position.
The Homage, Deep Cycle Batteries, are inflexible and reliable and have an estimated life of 18-24 months. The batteries will not give you any reason to be replaced every six months, like those that usual automobile batteries used with inverters and UPS.
