Exercise Machines Overview
Exercise machines are devices that are used for exercising physically. There are manual exercise machines as well as electric exercise machines.
Exercise machines are commonly used for losing weight, fitness, muscles, abs, and cardio. There is a large number of gyms in different cities of Pakistan. Exercise machines can either be used in the gym or they can also be used at homes.
Types of exercise machines
There is a variety of exercise machines for home and gym use. Specific machines are made for specific body parts.
Treadmills
This exercise machine is one of the most commonly used in almost every gym around Pakistan. People also keep treadmills at home. In the past years, manual treadmills were used but now everyone is using electric treadmills. They are a fast way of losing calories. You are supposed tp walk on the treadmill and can adjust the speed.
Elliptical trainer
Like treadmills, they are also a fast way of reducing calories. They help you to stay fit without having to put much pressure on your joints.
Rowing machine
With rowing machines, all your body parts are in motion. It is used while sitting. The more strength you use the more effective it is. You have to push your legs back with pressure and push the rod close to your ribs and then lean and stay for a moment and then repeat.
Stair climber
As the name suggests, this machine has stairs that do not end. It is a very tiring activity but very effective. It helps you shape your lower body such as thighs and hips.
Fan bike
This machine is like a real bike with a fan in its front big wheel. Its handles are higher than the seat.
Advantages of using exercise machines
Exercise machines are a way for your fitness. Taking care of your body is important. Following are the advantages of using exercise machines:
- It helps you to make yourself healthy. Exercising regularly helps you stay fit and away from many diseases that come with over weight such as high blood pressure, diabetes. It also helps you to release stress and you feel fresh and light after exercising.

- Exercise machines shape your body and improve your looks. You can lose weight, make abs or maintain your posture by regular use of exercise machines.
