They came up with Inkjet and Laser printers for desktops. The company started in a garage in California and sold one of its first products to Walt Disney, which was a huge success and led to Dave and Bill establishing their own company, formally. It provides computing devices to small, medium and large size businesses. Its headquarters are in Palo Alto, California. Hp has now split into two companies known as Hewlett-Packard Enterprise and Hp Inc.

EliteBook G3
Hp EliteBook is an exceptional business-class notebook made by Hewlett Packard. It was first introduced in August 2008. It is a professional laptop with a display of 14 inches and a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. It has a RAM of 4GB and connectivity options include WIFI, Bluetooth, two USB ports, HDMI port, lock slot, VGA port as well as RJ45 (LAN) ports. It does not come with a touch screen. It has a full aluminium exterior with a silver finish. It is dual-core, and Hp provides three years of warranty. Moreover, it has an anti-glare slim LED-backlit display. EliteBook G3 is often compared with its older versions that are EliteBook G2 and G1. While G3 has storage of 256GB SSD, G2 has storage up to 500GB HDD, and G1 is similar to G3. G3 is a 6th generation while G2 is a 5th generation and G1 has an Intel Core M-5Y71. While G1 and G2 have the same RAM type, i.e. DDR3, G3 has a RAM type DDR4. G3 has an expandable memory of 8GB while G2 expands up to 16GB. G3 usually comes in silver similar to G1 while G2 is often seen in black. G1 has a 9-hour battery life, and G2 has a 4.5 hours battery life. While the other two models have four battery cells each, G3 has three battery cells, and while G1 and G2 come with a year of warranty, G3 comes with three years of warranty.

Review
Due to its extremely portable design, Hp is one of the fewest companies that have managed to sell business laptops with bright optional displays as EliteBook G3 has an optional 700cd/m2 display. It also has a solid battery life which makes it all the more alluring.
