Introduction
Nikon D5500 is a successor of Nikon D5300 and was announced on January 5, 2015. Nikon D5500 has a touch screen, which makes it the first DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex camera) of this type. This was the world’s smallest, lightest and the slimmest DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) camera at the time of the launch, with the first time touch screen vari-angle monitor. Nikon D5500 has the dimensions of 4.9 inches x 3.8 inches x 2.8 inches.
