Multani Sohan Halwa Ingredients
- Take 1 litre of milk
- Add a half teaspoon of salt into the milk
- Add 6 tablespoon of wheat flour into the milk
- Add 2 tablespoon of sprout wheat flour into the milk
- Add 1 cup of sugar into the mixture
- Add 4 tablespoon of pure desi ghee
- 4-5 cardamoms ( green)
- Garnish it with walnuts, pistachios, and almonds
Multani Sohan Halwa Method
- First, add milk and white flour into a deep pan and bring the mixture to boil.
- Then add lemon and sprouted wheat flour into the mixture. Start stirring the mixture slowly and let the mixture boil for 4-5 minutes.
- You’ll see the paneer separating from the mixture and keep cooking it on a low flame constantly.
- After the mixture is reduced to approximately half of the original gradually add sugar into it and keep on stirring the mixture or else lumps will be formed.
- When the sugar completely dissolves within the mixture and a smooth mixture is ready, then add pure desi ghee into that mixture.
- after cooking it for 20-25 minutes you’ll notice that the mixture will stop sticking to the pan and the ghee will be visible as the mixture will leave its side
- After that add the desired dry fruits into the mixture and pour it into a dish.
- You can cut the halwa into your favourite shapes and garnish it with your favourite dry fruits.
