Xylor Tablet Overview
Xylor Tablet is a medication prescribed for primary or secondary gout in patients receiving cancer treatment, which increases uric acid levels in the blood and urine. Calcium can also be used to treat calcium kidney stones, gout stones, kidney acid damage, and certain deficiency diseases that cause asbestos in the thighs. It helped in the reduction of uric acid in the body. Xylor belongs to a class of drugs that inhibit xanthine oxidase. They will treat severe pain, joint tenderness and redness (gout), and high and abnormal uric acid levels in the blood. It blocks the activity of an enzyme involved in uric acid production (xanthine oxidase).
How to use

Xylor Tablet can be eaten after meals. Xylol can be taken after meals to minimize stomach irritation. Xylor needs to be swallowed with a glass of water.
Dose
A mild dose of gout
Adult
- Recommended: 200-300 mg daily in divided doses
- Early: 100 mg daily, a weekly increase of 100 mg until uric acid levels in the blood are below 6 mg / dL
- Maximum: 800 mg daily
The severe dose of nodular gout
Adult
- Recommended: 400-600 mg daily in divided doses
- Early: 100 mg daily, a weekly increase of 100 mg until uric acid levels in the blood are below 6 mg / dL
- Maximum: 800 mg daily
Storage
Always try to keep the drug at the place that is dry and cold and doesn’t contain any moisture. And always try to keep all medicine away from the kids because that can be life-threatening for them.
